The Escape has also seen improvements to the sound baffling, resulting in a quieter and more luxurious ride. Major engineering efforts to quiet the interior include new sound-absorbing panels tighter sealing measures to reduce cabin noise, and privacy glass. Escape sits a bit higher than many competitors (8.1 inches of ground clearance). Factory keyless entry with lock/alarm, fog lights, alloy wheels with brand new Michelin 16" tires.
